Vision and mission
We want to work with local trauma counselors, to help children in Nigeria find recovery from their traumatic experiences.
Setting out with them towards a new and hopeful future. Every child deserves to be treated with dignity.
We would like to carry out this task. You can help us do so.
Learn how to do good, and see that justice is done fairly.
Don't give bad leaders a chance. Help widows and protect children without fathers.

The trauma team in Nigeria
For trauma counseling, we currently have a team consisting of a program coordinator/trauma trainer, 4 trauma counselors, 2 psychologists/trauma trainers and an accountant. In addition, we now have a group of trained counselors who have started trauma programs for the children in their children's homes and schools. These caregivers are part of the network established by the Kids in Crisis Foundation. They receive further training and coaching in practice from the KicF specialist team. The KicF team provides assistance in setting up trauma programs for children in refugee camps, children's homes, churches and relief organizations.
